hen you're looking to get away from the city, Russ Haven Resort welcomes you, your family and your friends to a fresh approach on "roughing it". We are a year round cottage and camping resort just north of Muskoka on beautiful Pickerel Lake in Burk's Falls, Ontario.
We provide both cottage accommodation and camping sites, which are available from overnight to season-long rental.
When it comes to a fun, relaxing and family-orientated environment, you can't get much better than Russ Haven. We have everthing a Mom and Dad could ever dream of to keep everyone happy and busy.
There's tons of space for sports and recreational pastimes, trails for hiking and nature watching, Pickerel Lake for any level of swimmer or fisherman, boat access and rentals, snowmobiling and so much more. We do love horses and offer horse boarding in our beautiful 20 horse barn with a nearby 30 acre pasture for them to roam. So bring your horse.
Russ Haven is the perfect place to meet old friends and make new ones. And for those big events, take advantage of our unique "Reunion" section, perfect for large family gatherings, complete with utilities, firepit and wide open spaces.
For the days where you don't feel like cooking, there is a restaurant within walking distance. The view is breath-taking! A perfect overview of Pickerel Lake in any season. Sandy, Matt, Patrick and Danny Zimmermann look forward to introducing you to all that cottage country has to offer.

Look-Out Point is one of our very special features. We regularly hike, bike, ATV or snowmobile to the top of Look-Out Point.
